Targeting culturally diverse areas through a central
website
City & Hackney PCT wanted to promote its image
as a local leader of the NHS and communicate better with the local
Hackney community and was looking to re-design its website to make
it more appealing to the diverse socio-economic and ethnic
groups.
Merchant Healthcare Marketing has been appointed to work
closely with the Trust to develop a website with multiple language
options, which engages the public through an interactive community
map, an online forum and a local events calendar, where people can
submit their own events. It will also highlight health heroes in
the community and have a careers page for showcasing local
employment opportunities.
